Sunday Streets Western Addition Route Announced

It's not up on their website yet, but the Sunday Streets Facebook page has posted a map of September 19th's Western Addition route.  Winding through a dense residential neighborhood and along part of the Fillmore commercial corridor, this event promises to be much more like the popular Mission District route than the next event in line, a Great Highway route scheduled for August 22nd.

The Western Addition route is a first for Sunday Streets, and will be followed in October by another new route - through the Tenderloin.

The website says that a new map is coming soon and the FB map is dated March, 2010.

I'll just note how inapropro that hilly, hilly part of Golden Gate would be for SS.

Surprised they don't just shut down Divis.

The image has a date of march, but the photo was just uploaded by whoever has access to the Sunday Streets FB page, so I have a strong feeling it's fairly accurate. (Plus, things on Facebook are true)

As for the hill, we'll see how it goes. I don't think it'll stop most people from walking around. In any case, the TL event will definitely have hills - get ready for that!
